North Mundham House Holiday Cottages
Environmental Policy
We are fully committed to minimising our effects on the environment, whilst ensuring that your stay at North Mundham House Cottages is a memorable one. We would be most grateful for your support in reducing our environmental impact.

Underfloor heating and hot water provided by modern air-source heating units; both properties fully double glazed with electricity partially provided by photovoltaic system.

We have weekly collections for recycling (glass, paper, plastic and cans) and domestic waste with separate disposal bins in the kitchen and larger collecting bins externally.

Where possible we use environmentally friendly cleaning products

We use recycled paper and minimise the use of paper, preferring e-mail for communication and the use of our website for advertising purposes

The Cottage and The Studio are recently renovated and very well insulated, energy saving bulbs are used and guests are able to adjust the under floor heating.

All wood used in the log burner is locally sourced.

The swimming pool uses an air-source heat exchange system.

We welcome cyclists and walker. North Mundham House is conveniently located close to the Saltern's Way cycle path and the canal towpath which leads into Chichester. It is also possible to reach the Centurian Way, which follows a disused railway line north of Chichester into the South Downs Park. We also offer bikes for hire.

We can provide information available on local pubs, restaurants and tourist attractions as well as local public transport.
